The Core is located in the heart of Leeds city centre, extending to 201,606 sq ft across a total of 30 retail units over three floors.

The centre is anchored by retailers Matalan, Cotswold Outdoor, Poundland and FootAsylum, as well as a food court occupied by Burger King and Subway, among others. The ownership also includes a car park, which has been let out on a long lease until 2114 on a peppercorn rent.
